Each community has health care facilities, law enforcement, fire protection, water treatment plants and many of the communities have piped rural water. The communities are working collectively on a regional municipal solid waste project that would include an education program to resident to divert waste from several landfills to a central location. Eco-Centre recycling depot has been in operation for more than 5 years at each end of the trade corridor to collect used oil and filters - centre that is owned jointly by the RM’s of Shell River and Hillsburg. The communities have been actively recycling household, industrial and institutional waste for many years.
Companies interested in locating in the PARC region will be greeted with a wealth of resources. Municipalities are interested in understanding the infrastructure requirements and may be to assist.
